i kind of felt the same way, except i liked the curtain and swings, feeling that was enough. the artist had to gunk it all up with all the other over conceptualized elements- speakers in brown bags, people reading and writing, birds. for me it read as lacking faith in the beauty of the object (the curtain), for us to interpret and feel on our own.
